Turn old into new

If you are working on your own project, we can help by stripping the paint from your front door in our dip tank. For the last fifteen years, we have used caustic soda mixed with water to strip paint, the process takes approximately six hours. Contrary to popular belief, this does not strip the glue from the joints of the door because period doors are not held together with glue. They maintain their structure by means of a wedged mortice and tenon joint.
